Emergency First Aid at Work

Summary

To give the student knowledge of basic first aid. Enabling them to preserve life and stabilise a casualty until more advanced help arrives.

Suitable for:

Nominated workplace first aiders, or anyone wanting a comprehensive introduction to first aid. The course is compliant with Health and Safety (first aid) regulations, and will give confidence and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies.

Course Tutors:

Our course tutors are construction site practitioners with a vast experience of on-site realities. They are also Chartered Members of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH); and also qualified and experienced Members of the Institute for Learning (MIfL).

Aims:

Confidence and knowledge.

Course Method:

Classroom tutorials, practical practice, continuous assessment.

Award:

HSE accredited first aid certificate (valid for three years), First aid manual, and Pocket face shield key ring.

To ensure requalification a two day First Aid at work Requalification course must be passed within 28 days of expiry of the original First Aid at work Certification.
