Health and Safety for Supervisors Course

Summary:

For Management persons requiring to show competence to other shareholders in the construction industry of their awareness of their duties and responsibilities of legislation and best practice.

Suitable for:

This course is intended for site supervisors to show a good level of awareness of all aspects of health and safety on construction sites.

Aims:

To give a good understanding of responsibilities under the current Acts, Regulations and other current safety legislation.

Course Tutors:

Our course tutors are construction site practitioners with a vast experience of ‘on-site’ realities. They are also Chartered Members of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH); and also qualified and experienced Members of the Institute for Learning (MIfL).

Health and Safety Legislation in 2009
Management, Planning, Supervision, Risk assessments and method statements
Regulations, Approved Codes of Practice, Guidance and Industry Best Practice
Duties of Managers with particular emphasis on supervision, compliance and good business practice
Recent changes in legislation
