Manual Handling Operations Course

Summary:

This course is ideal for companies and individuals wishing to upgrade levels of competency of sound health and safety practice.

Suitable for:

This course is intended for persons with the responsibility for planning, managing, supervising or conducting manual handling operations.

This course is also for those persons responsible for writing risk assessments and method statements covering all aspects of manual handling and health and safety on construction sites.

Aims:

To give a basic understanding of responsibilities under the current Acts, Regulations and other current safety legislation.

Course Tutors:

Our course tutors are construction site practitioners with a vast experience of ‘on-site’ realities. They are also Chartered Members of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH); and also qualified and experienced Members of the Institute for Learning (MIfL).
